Dishwasher Faults

Not showing any power –
- Check the fuse – Might blow the fuse if there is a leak or wires make bad contact
- Mains suppressor failure
- Multi pin connectors loose at the circuit board
- Door catch or On/Off button fault or related components fault
Power on but nothing happens-
- Drain pump fault
- Circuit board or timer fault
- Door catch or On/Off button faulty or related components fault
- Inlet valve fault
- Water level sensor fault
Water continuously draining at the start-
- Flood sensor activated. Possibly a leak into the base.
- Water level sensor fault
- Drain pipe too low
- Water Enters at the start then stops-
- Motor fault
- Motor capacitor failure
- Heating Element or thermostat fault
Water Enters at the start then stops & starts many times-
- Gunge in the pipes in the base or water flow chamber
Water will not drain-
- Drain pump fault
- Possible blockage in the drain pipe
- Possible obstruction to the drain pump impellor. Usually chicken bone or glass
Water will not enter at the start-
- Gunge in the pipes in the base or water flow chamber
- Inlet valve fault
- Water level sensor fault
Wash cycle runs but dishes not properly clean-
- Gunge in the pipes in the base or water flow chamber
- Heating Element or thermostat fault
- Spray arms blocked
- Filter blocked
